CD Invest Consult GmbH was founded in 2003. The managing partners, Harald Klien and Heike Jandl, contribute to the company with their experience and references in numerous sectors.
After successful years as a private equity and VC fund manager in Frankfurt and Boston and a project manager in the Austrian industrial holding ÖIAG, Harald Klien started one of the first M&A consulting companies in Austria in 1988, called CDI Beteiligungsberatung GmbH. In 1998 Erste Bank acquired a stake in CDI Beteiligungsberatung and finally bought the entire company in 2003. Thereafter, CD Invest Consult GmbH is founded.
Heike Jandl worked for Ernst & Young in Zurich and continued her career as executive director for Europa Consult GmbH in 1999 which is the corporate finance branch of Investkredit Bank in Vienna. She has long term experience with family businesses and in the area of succession related solutions.
Since 2003 Harald Klien and Heike Jandl have been advising companies of all sizes with the team of CD Invest Consult GmbH in the area of purchases and sales of companies. Harald Klien is responsbile for transactions of higher volume, whereas Heike Jandl uses her special skills to assist family businesses and SMEs.
In 2005 CD Invest Consult GmbH became member of the global consulting network Global M&A, the N°6 in M&A consulting. Global M&A is the world’s leading partnership of top-tier independent financial advisory firms focusing on mid market cross border transactions with values between €20 and €250 million. The Global M&A partnership consists of 35 partners in financial centres spanning the globe. Members have completed more than 700 transactions with an aggregate deal value exceeding €15 billion since 2000.
